|
Off-lease computers offer an excellent alternative to purchasing new computers. Systime provides off-lease systems from top tiered manufacturers: Hewlett-Packard (Compaq), Dell, IBM and Gateway. These systems are typically originally leased for 1, 2 or 3 years by a corporation and then returned to the leasing company at the end of the lease term. We procure these systems and then subject them to an extensive QC process prior to shipping them out to our customers. Our customers have found that they can typically purchase two to three times as many off-lease systems with the same budget money they have allocated for purchasing new systems. By focusing on providing brand-name systems and the best models, we are able to provide top quality systems at extremely reasonable prices. It is important as well that we are able to provide systems in quantity with identical configurations. Many of our customers are K-12 school districts and libraries that are looking to buy complete labs of systems or to add systems of the same make/model as they previously own to existing labs. The ability to but, for example, Dell Optiplex GX280 systems that accept the same "system image", allows the schools to easily setup and support these systems. Systime is also an authorized Microsoft educational reseller which gives us the ability to provide operating system upgrade licensing, as well as licensing for Microsoft software such as Microsoft Office, at a significant discount to qualifying educational customers (including libraries). Our partnership with leasing organizations enables us to "cherry-pick" only the best systems and configurations and we only select systems that are "Grade A" quality. Our production department then physically cleans and tests each desktop or laptop computer individually prior to shipment. Our QC process includes testing each and every component of the system as well as physically cleaning the units. All systems are covered under a standard 30 day warranty. We offer extended warranty options for up to 3 years. The warranty includes the replacement and/or repair of the system. The system can either be sent back to us for repair / replacement, or we more typically work with IT departments that prefer us to advance ship replacement parts (i.e. a replacement hard drive, optical drive, etc.). We provide all warranty service directly (no third party organizations to deal with) and have a dedicated technical staff available for service and support. We also offer system upgrades including additional memory, upgraded optical drives, new flat-panel monitors and more, allowing you to order systems that meet your specific system requirements. |
